Aaron grew up in residential construction. Working for his grandfather, a spec builder in eastern Long-Island, he learned the construction process, carpentry and shingling, and had great exposure to all of the trades involved in residential construction.
Both of Aaron’s parents studied architecture at Talisien, Frank Lloyd Wright’s architecture school in Arizona. Aaron was extensively involved in both of his parents’ home construction projects.

Mr. Rosenbaum graduated from St. John’s College, in Annapolis Md. He was awarded a Thomas Watson Fellowship (one of 50 selected from over 7500 applicants) to pursue a project upgrading the technology of the largest newspaper in Poland.
Subsequently, Aaron held positions managing the networking infrastructure, including the physical cable plants, for the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) and Ingres, a large software company that had a campus in Alameda. At Ingres, Aaron was also responsible for upgrading 15 executive briefing centers.
In 1994, Aaron founded Ambleside to do networking infrastructure projects. Clients included the Department of Interior, the State of Pennsylvania, the World Bank, and many smaller commercial firms.
Aaron was the Senior Partner for Web Systems at Cambridge Technology Partners, a tier-one system integrator and also held VP of Marketing Positions for Cohera (now owned by Oracle) and NativeMinds (now owned by Autonomy). When working in the venture backed software world, Aaron recieved funding from Accell, Sequoia, Nathan Myhrvold, Oracles Venture fund and other leading firms.
Aaron acted as the General Contractor for his home, designing and building the home with the needs of his young family in mind. Aaron, his wife Jessica, and their three children live in Hillsborough, CA where his two older children attend South School. Jessica holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and participates actively in scope + training phases of projects. Aaron has served on the board and as Treasurer of Peninsula Sinai Congregation and is currently a board member of the Jewish Community Relations Council.
